Last night was Tyler’s football game. It took about an hour to drive there. It rained heavily all the way to the sports stadium. Surprisingly, it stopped raining as soon as we got to the parking lot. There was a light rain for about 30 minutes during the game. The Anacortes team is ranked #1 for all of Washington State 2A football teams. Our opponent, the Sehome Mariners are ranked #8. We completely controlled the game during the first half with a score of 35-0. In the second half we had a few injuries, mostly leg muscle cramps. Tyler had both legs cramp up at the same time. So he had to sit out several plays. Next week should be an easy game but the week after next game will be like a championship game. Anacortes is ranked # 1 as I mentioned, but the opposing team is ranked #2. Here are a couple of after-game photos.

Today we headed about an hour south of here. Marlo had a soccer game in Stanwood on Camano Island. They won the game 2-0.

So far, everyday sports. Thursday I arrived Marlo soccer game, Friday Tyler football, Saturday again Marlo soccer and tomorrow, Sunday, Seattle Seahawks pro football.

It is forecast to rain only one day next week, so it should be a good week.
