September 3, 2022

I woke this morning to the sound of fog horns. When I took the photo below, the fog had lifted but earlier it was rather thick.

Max has his first game this evening at 7 pm. Marlo has a soccer scrimmage before his game in a different town, so we won’t be able to watch both games. A scrimmage is just a practice game so we will go to Max’s game. Marlo will join us after she finishes.

Tyler’s first game is on Monday in Oak Harbor which is on Whidbey Island, but we can drive there in about 1.5 hours.  Max’s second game on next Friday is across Puget Sound (A “sound” is a narrow sea. Anacortes is at the northern end of Puget Sound.) so we will have to take a ferry. Driving and ferry boat ride is almost three hours. I love riding the ferries, so I will be happy.

Here is Marlo’s soccer team. She is fourth from the left and her jersey number is 1.
