I leave here tomorrow which will be Sunday here and Monday in Japan. I will arrive Narita at around 3:25 pm on Monday. This will probably be my “what's new”.

Yesterday was a super long day. Max had a football game in Port Angeles at 6 p.m. We took Tyler and two of his friends out of school at 1230. It was a one-hour drive to the ferry on Whidbey Island, about a one hour wait for the ferry, a 45-minute ferry ride and another one-hour drive to the football field. We stopped at Wendy’s and got burgers, chicken nuggets, fries and drinks to eat while driving. We had another one-hour wait until game-time. There are not many ferries, so we had to take the earlier one to get to the game on time. Max injured his finger early in the game, but they just taped it, and he finished the game. The coach said he will have to tape his fingers for the rest of the season. Max’s team won the game by a score of 58-0. We were hoping the other team would score a little to make it more exciting. Everyone on Max’s team had a chance to play a lot, even the second and third string players. We got back home at 12 midnight. I slept like a baby.

We could relax on the beach while waiting for the ferry.
