My Notes October 2026 Week 4

The Sakakibara Kikai company built the largest humanoid vehicle.

This gigantic humanoid is 8.46 meters tall, 4.27 meters long and 4 meters wide.

The humanoid’s name is Mononofu and it took six years to build it.

Its design resembles robots from various Japanese anime.

The building’s shutter is only seven meters tall so the humanoid’s head must be removed.

There is a cockpit below the head where an operator can control it.

November 1 is Give Up Your “Shoulds” Day.

For one day give up a "should" that leads to stress, guilt, misery, or any sort of sadness.

Some examples of “should” are, “I should clean house,” “I should exercise” or “I should lose weight.”

Instead of saying, “I think I should exercise” try saying “I feel like exercising.”

People who gave up their “should” say that they feel better.

“To drink like a fish” means “to drink alcohol excessively.”

He drinks like a fish at his BBQs.

“To turn the other cheek” means “to accept insult or injury without responding.”

Sometimes it is better to turn the other cheek than to start a fight.
