My Notes October 2026 Week 2

Clint Masse created the world’s largest snow maze.

The 2,789.114 square-meter maze cost about $43,000 to make.

He had to pay for the labor, trucks, artificial snow, generators and fuel.

The walls were about two meters tall and about 60 centimeters thick.

If you are lucky, it takes about 30 minutes to walk through it.

Clint owns a corn farm in Manitoba, Canada, and has been making corn mazes for 21 years.

October 10 is National Depression Screening Day.

Over 350 million people are affected by depression worldwide.

Winter causes depression because of the lack of sunlight.

People who are alone get depressed during the holidays because many people are celebrating with family and friends.

Depression can also cause eating disorders.

Exercising helps reduce depression.

“Show of hands” means “to vote by raising your hand.”

Give me a show of hands, who wants to have a BBQ?

“To make a pitstop” means “to take a break from driving to eat, rest or use the restroom.”

We’ve been driving for two hours; I think I will make a pit stop at the next rest area.
