Craig Wood from the UK became the first triple amputee to cross an ocean solo.

He wanted to show people with disabilities can do almost anything they put their minds to.

Both of his legs and left hand were amputated because of injuries during the Afghan War.

He started sailing his 41-ft catamaran from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

He had hard and stressful times but found time to learn how to bake bread and pies and even grew a tomato plant.

November 2 is Daylight Savings Time (DST) Ends Day.

Daylight Saving Time is from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November.

DST benefits retailers, restaurants, and outdoor activities.

The later sunsets may lead to reduced crime and traffic accidents, increase Vitamin D production, and improve mood for some individuals. 

The government still hasn’t decided to make DST permanent or standard time permanent.

“To hit the spot” means “to be totally satisfying.”

A cold beer on a hot day really hits the spot.

“To be high” means “to be slightly inebriated.”

After drinking two beers he was high.
