He cycled through nine European nations in a day.

He travelled 715.8 km with very few stops.

He was soaking wet within minutes of starting and it rained for ten of the 24 hours.

He started in northern Italy and had four minutes to spare when he entered the Netherlands.

November 24 is Mother Goose Day.

Mother Goose is a fictional person who wrote children’s stories and nursery rhymes.

Cinderella and the Beauty and the Beast are examples of fairy tales.

Humpty Dumpty and Jack and Jill are examples of nursery rhymes.

“Momotaro” is one of the most famous Japanese fairy tales.

“Clean bill of health” means “good results from a medical examination.”

I had a physical exam yesterday and the doctor gave me a clean bill of health.

“Clear the table” means “remove everything from the table after eating.”

You clear the table, and I will do the dishes.
