Katherine Stinson is the first woman to start a flying school.

She wanted to study piano in Europe but the journey by land and sea was long and expensive.

She read a news article that said exhibition pilots were earning $1,000 a show.

After getting her pilot license, she realized that she loved flying more than playing the piano.

She and her mother made an airport and opened a school for pilots in 1912.

The military took control of the airport in WWI, but the original terminal is still standing today.

March 24 is National Chocolate Covered Raisins Day.

The Swiss food company Nestles introduced Raisinets to the United Staes in 1927.

This original brand name is still the most popular chocolate covered raisin.

Recently, chocolate-covered dried cranberries and dried cherries are becoming popular.

Chocolate covered bacon dates back to around 2005.

“First thing” means “before anything else.”

Call me first thing tomorrow morning.
“Fishy” means “to seem dishonest.”

I don’t trust him; he’s kind of fishy.
