Ryusuke Sekino is the world’s smallest baby boy.

He was delivered via emergency caesarean section at Nagano Children’s Hospital in Azumino.

He was born after 24 weeks and five days of pregnancy and weighed 258 grams.

He was born on October 1 and seven months later he weighed three kilograms.

His mother can now feed him and give him a bath and he was released from the hospital in April.

The previous smallest baby boy weighed 268 grams and was born in Tokyo last year.

The first weekend in June are Horseradish days.

Horseradish is made from the root of the horseradish plant, which is in the mustard plant family.

Yellow mustard is made from the seeds of various mustard plants.

American yellow mustard is mild but Chinese yellow mustard is very hot.

Wasabi comes from the Japanese wasabi plant and is very expensive.

Most wasabi eaten in restaurants is made from horseradish, mustard and dyed green.

 “Sleep like a baby” means “to sleep very well.”

I took some cold medicine and slept like a baby.”

“Toss and turn” means “didn’t sleep well.”

I had muscle pain, so I tossed and turned all night.
