They were born on 18 September 1961 and passed away on April 7 at the age of 62 years and 202 days. In 2007, Dori changed her name to George and said that he was a transgender. Lori was able-bodied but George had spina bifida and could not walk. George became a country music singer and traveled around the world, including to Japan. June 12 is National Peanut Butter Cookie Day. George Washington Carver (1864–1943) recommended growing peanuts in place of cotton. He gathered 105 peanut recipes from various cookbooks including three recipes for peanut cookies. In the early 1930s peanut butter was listed as an ingredient in the cookies. Early peanut butter cookies were rolled thin and cut into shapes. Finally, they used a fork to make a crisscross pattern on the cookie. “Step your game up” means “to work harder at something.” I need to step my game up and study English more. “Hit the books” means “to study hard.” I have an English test tomorrow, so I had better hit the books tonight. |
