The blue whale is the largest animal ever.

Blue whales can grow to about 30 meters long and weigh between 100 and 150 tons.

Blue whales feed on krill which grow to about 6 cm and weigh 2 gr.

The blue whale’s tongue weighs four tons and its lungs can hold 5,000 liters.

The whale’s heart is about the size of a VW Beetle car, weighs about 680 kg and beats four to eight times per minute.

August 5 is National Oyster Day.

There are over 100 species of oysters.

Traditionally they are named after the body of water in which they are grown.

Humans have been eating oysters since the dawn of humanity.

Only one out of 10,000 oysters will produce a pearl.

Oysters can be eaten on the half shell, raw, smoked, boiled, baked, fried, roasted etc.

“Tough call” means “a difficult decision to make.”

It’s a tough call whether to paint the house or buy a new car.

“Heads up” means “to give advanced information.”
