Sarpura Yokohama Play Town has the record for most claw game machines at a single venue.

The game center has a whooping 555 machines.

There is a 10-yen corner, where one game costs only 10 yen to play.

One game that lets you operate 10 claws at the same time.

You can control the claw by moving a joystick.

The prizes range from inexpensive toys and candy to large expensive stuffed toys.

July 11 is Seven Eleven Day a.k.a. Free Slurpee Day.

In 1927, a Southland Ice Company employee began to sell eggs, milk, and bread at an icehouse in Dallas, Texas.

In 1928, a store manager put up a totem pole in front of her store and called the “Totem Store.”

In 1946, the store’s name was changed to Seven-Eleven to reflect the hours the store was opened.

In 1973 Ito-Yokado signed a franchisee agreement 7-Eleven convenience stores in Japan.

“To get the blues” means “to become sad or depressed.”

Many people get the blues during the rainy season.
“Get to the point” means “to be direct.”

Stop beating around the bush and get to the point!
