Kenta Adachi of Japan has broken the record for the most pullups in 24 hours.

He did 8,940 pullups which was over 300 more than the previous record.

He also set the record for the most consecutive pull ups, 651, back in 2022.

In 2007, he had to take a sports test and could do only 12 pullups.

Two weeks prior to the record attempt, he did 5,000 pull-ups in 9 hours and 32 minutes, but he sprained his arm.

After hitting the 5,000 mark, Kenta wanted to vomit all the time, his hands were blistered, and his arms were screaming in pain, but with the help of his friends, he reached his goal.

July 8 is Coca Cola Day.

John Stith Pemberton was the inventor of Coca-Cola. 

He was injured during the American Civil War.

He made a syrup that would relieve pain.

He used the cola plant (cocaine), the kola nut (caffeine), and alcohol.

He made a new syrup with different ingredients and accidentally added carbonated soda.

“All ears” means “to listen very attentively.”

I was all ears while he was telling the story.

“All hell broke loose” means “a sudden angry, noisy reaction to something.”

All hell broke loose when it was announced that the plant was going to close down.
