Shona Noguchi has set the record for the fastest time to travel to all Tokyo subway stations. He stopped at 285 stations in 13 hours 53 minutes.

Most stations are within Tokyo, but some are located in Saitama and Chiba.

The attempt began at 8:22 a.m. in Nishimagome Station and ended his journey at Nishitakashimadaria Station at 10:18 p.m.

He also set foot in all train stations in the Kanto region including Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba, and Kanagawa.

January 6 is Nation al Shortbread Day.

Shortbread is a traditional Scottish biscuit dating back to the twelfth century.

It is usually made from one part white sugar, two parts butter and three to four parts flour.

Shortbread does not contain any leavening, such as baking powder or baking soda.

Shortbread is widely associated with Christmas festivities in Scotland.

“To give someone an earful” means “to scold someone.”

She gave her husband an earful when he came home at 1 a.m.

“Easy! or Easy does it!” means “Not so fast! or Calm down!”
