The miniature appaloosa "Bombel" is the world’s shortest male horse.

Bombel lives in Poland and is only 56.7 cm tall.

He is called Bombel, or Bubble in English, because of his rotund shape.

He may be small, but he has a huge personality and a huge heart.

Bombel visits the children's hospital to cheer up young patients.

February 2 is Groundhog Day.

If a groundhog sees its shadow on this day, it means there will be six more weeks of winter.

If it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive early.

This tradition originated in the German-speaking areas of Europe in the sixteenth century.

The groundhog is a type of marmot and is also called a woodchuck in the US.

In some Native American languages, animals that dug underground were called “wuchak.”

Punxsutawney Phil is the most famous groundhog in the US.

“In the long run” means “over a long period of time.”

You may be tired from exercising, but in the long run, you will be healthier.

“In the same boat” means “in the same negative situation.”
