Jenny Graham set the record for the fastest circumnavigation by bicycle (female). 

She cycled 28,968 km in 124 days and 11 hours.

She beat the previous record by 20 days.

She started in Berlin and headed east and finished the first leg of her trip in China.

She then biked across Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Canada then flew to Portugal.

She then biked to the finish line in Berlin.

The World Eskimo-Indian Olympics is held in Mid-July or early August.

Alaskans traditionally played games to prepare for survival in their harsh climate.

A pilot who experienced these events recommended they became part of the Fairbanks summer festival.

The game events test the participants’ ability to endure the difficulties of hunting in the cold.

They also hold cultural events such as dancing, storytelling and feasting.

“Beats me” means “I don’t know.”
