Judi Oyama is the oldest competitive female skateboarder at the age of 64 years and 326 days. 

When she was 14 years old, her brother gave her a skateboard that he made.

In the 1970s, the first-place prize for women was $2,500, but men received that amount for only participating.

In 1977 she was the only female competitor and finished in eighth place.

After that event, she was asked to join a team and got her first sponsor.

In 2003, she won the Slalom World Championships at age 43, and 10 years later she was ranked first in the master’s division. 

September 10 is National TV Dinner Day.

The US military was the first to freeze meals to serve on planes in 1944.

The Swanson company made frozen meals popular in the 1960s.

The frozen dinners came on aluminum trays that were heated in a conventional oven.

In 1986, microwaveable trays were invented so the meals could be heated in a microwave oven.

The first Swanson TV dinner was turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy and a vegetable.

“Half-baked” means “foolish”.

His ideas are always half-baked.
“Hand-me-down” means “clothing passed on from one person to another.”

When I was a child, I always wore hand-me-downs from my older brothers.
