Andrea Lanfri was the first multiple amputee to climb Everest.

They amputated both of his legs below the knees and seven of his fingers because of meningitis.

Despite having lost his legs, he wanted to become a sprinter.

After winning silver and bronze medals as a sprinter, he decided to climb Mt Everest.

While preparing to climb, he made the fastest high-altitude mile run in 9 minutes and 48 seconds.

He said that descending the mountain was much more difficult than ascending it.

March 11 is National Plumbing Day.

Plumbing is any system that moves fluids from one place to another.

Waste removal and potable water delivery are the most common uses for plumbing.

Clay sewer pipes were used around 4000 BCE.

The word "plumbing" derives from “plumbum””, the Latin word for lead.

Lead is no longer used since it causes many health problems.

“Get up on the wrong side of the bed” means “to be in a bad mood.”

She’s grumpy today, she must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.

“Tongue-tied” means “unable to think of something to say.”

He was tongue-tied when he first met his friend’s sister.
