Date Posted:09/10/2018 01:46 AMCopy HTML Thought it's about time I update ya'll on what I've been doing this past week. I've been busy but nothing exciting. Spent two days cleaning up the printing business building. The previous owner never cleaned up nor did he ever throw things away. We donated a pickup truck full of computers, printers, scanners and computer monitors. We also have a ton of old Clamdigger magazines (some dating back to 1998) to recycle and boxes of documents we should shred. The kids school started on September 6. School starts at 7:30 and finishes at 2:10 for the boys and Marlo from 9:30 to 3:30. Christina drops them off and i pick them up. Max and Tyler have football practice three days a week and Marlo soccer practice two days a week. Tyler had his second game of the season and they won both games by a score of 19 - 0. Tyler scored two touch downs in yesterday's game. The weather during the first week was ok, warm during the day and cold at night. It started raining a few days ago and it has been chilly during the day. People here are strange! The football game was at Friday Harbor which is on an island about one hour by ferry boat from here. After the game we had over two hours to kill before the next ferry back to Anacortes. Many of us went to a restaurant near the ferry terminal. We sat on the third level with a nice view of the water. There is no roof and we sat outside, in the light rain, eating and drinking. It rains so much here that I guess it doesnt bother people who have lived here forever. I am looking forward to getting back home in Japan so I can warm up. I am just happy that I don't live in Kansai or Hokkaido, I feel so sorry for them. If you ever visit the Seattle area, even during the summer, don't forget to bring a long sleeve shirt and a light jacket. I will depart here one week from today. I will continue being with my grandkids, but at the same time I can't wait to get back. |

Yes, in Tokyo. Still continue warm days. And in Japan sufferd from terrible natural disaster you know. I’m sorry too.
Kanto district is relatively safe from disaster. But we have to keep careful with them.
I hope typhoon will not hit Tokyo when you came back.

The Seahawks lost their game yesterday. They had many great plays but unfortunately they made a lot of mistakes too. It is a very young team so it will take a while to really start working well together. I hope the game against Dallas on September 24 (Japan time) will be a good one. Max and Tyler have football practice on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week and Marlo on Tuesday and Thursday. They all have games on Saturday. I hope the timing is ok so I can watch all three games. I leave here this coming Sunday and arrive in Tokyo on Monday. I will try to bring some of this cool weather with me.) |
