Her stories impressed me. (She is a great storyteller.)

We wanted to make a pilgrimage to 34 temples and shrines in Chichibu. (The Chichibu 34 Kannon Pilgrimage is approximately 100 kilometers long and has been popular since the 13th century.)

There were heavy rains and flooding. (This includes some small Japanese islands but mainly the Philippines.)

I used a back scratcher. (Mine looks like a mini rake.)

I had my tooth implant checkup. (She has a periodic exam.)

A dental hygienist cleaned my teeth. (Hygiene includes habits like washing your hands, brushing your teeth, and taking a shower to get rid of germs and dirt.)  

We ate shaved ice, a.k.a. sno-cones. (The shaved ice is coated with flavored syrup.)

Algorithms are only as good as the information it researches. (One negative result of this is that they can control how people think.)

I get much information from the internet. (“Information” is not countable so don’t say “many informations”.)

You should fact-check, or verify, information you get online. (You should check several sources of information to try and find the truth.)

It reminded me of the movie Forest Gump. (When she saw the photo, she remembered the movie.)

Chicken cartilage is healthy due to its high content of collagen, which is beneficial for joint, bone, and skin health. (I’ve eaten pig ears but not chicken cartilage.)

I hadn’t seen them in a long time. (They get together only once in a long while.)

She mumbled when she spoke. (She doesn’t speak clearly.)

I put wood chip mulch in my garden. (Mulch helps prevent weeds and controls the temperature of the soil.)

A dashboard camera or simply dashcam, also known as car digital video recorder (car DVR), driving recorder, or event data recorder (EDR), is an onboard camera. (This camera is very useful when you have an accident, or somebody tries to break into your car.)

I don’t know until when I can continue playing golf. (At some age we will have to quit playing golf.)

Japan has at least three native species of squirrels and several non-native species. (You can say “alien” squirrels” but “non-native” is more common.)

It has been several decades since I went autumn leaves viewing. (But he has seen many autumn leaves while golfing.)

The key fob stands for "frequency operated button". (Another name for “key fob”is “digital key.”)
