My Notes March 2026 Week 4

Favour Ogechi Ani from Nigeria broke the record for highest number counted out loud.

For 70 days she would wake up, pray, eat breakfast, count for seven hours then eat lunch.

After lunch she would continue counting until bedtime for a total of 14 hours every day.

She started with the number one and counted all the way to 1,070,000.

The original record was to one million and it took 16 hours a day for 89 days.

She broadcasted from YouTube Live and was motivated by her followers who cheered her on.

After saying the final number, she had mixed feelings of relief and joy at the same time.

The third Monday to Sunday in March is National Fix a Leak Week.

Natural gas and propane, a.k.a. “city gas”, leaks can be deadly.

These gases have no smell so you should install a gas detector to warn you if there is a leak.

Lemon Gas is lemon scented so you can notice if it is leaking.

A common household leak is the water tank on the toilet.

You can check online on how you can repair a variety of leaks yourself.

“To turn over a new leaf” means “to change your behavior in a positive way.”

I haven’t exercised in ages so I’m going to turn over a new leaf and start walking daily.

“The new normal” means “something that is common now but wasn’t in the past.”

Because of the high cost of living, working two jobs is the new normal.
