My Notes June 2026 Week 4

A team from the Caterpillar Company set a record for the largest Jenga game.

Each Jenga block was 243.8 cm long, 81.2 cm wide and 40.6 cm high and weighed 272 kg.

This event was held as a heavy-duty equipment training lesson.

Five types of CAT machines were used to play the game.

The tower began with 9 layers like a standard game of table Jenga.

After 28 hours, they moved 16 blocks and ended with 13 layers.

June 30 is National Meteor Watch Day.

A meteor is a small piece of rock or ice about the size of a speck of dust to the size of a fist.

Meteors are also called shooting stars.

Wishing upon a star started in Greece around the year 135.

People believed that the gods opened the sky to see what humans were doing.

“Go in one ear and out the other” means “to listen to something but soon forget it.”

I gave him advice on how to better himself, but he never changes. Everything I say goes in one ear and out the other.

“To walk it off” means “to walk around to get rid of anger or get rid of pain from an injury.”

I know you are angry with him, but you should walk it off before talking with him.
