This vehicle traveled a distance of 2,906.47 km. This hydrogen-filled truck emitted zero pounds of carbon dioxide. A gas or diesel engine would have produced about 300 kg of carbon dioxide. The biggest problem with hydrogen vehicles is the cost to make hydrogen gas and the lack of filling stations. February 4 – 11, 2025, is the Sapporo Snow Festival. The Snow Festival began as a one-day event in 1950 when six local high school students built six snow statues in Odori Park. In 1955 the Japan Self-Defense Forces built the first massive snow sculptures. The largest ever sculpture was the 25-meter-high ‘Gulliver, Welcome to Sapporo’ in 1972. This sculpture was created with the equivalent of 1,300 5,000-kg truckloads of snow. “To enter one's mind” means “to start thinking about something.” Do I want to quit my job?
