The largest flag football tournament was held in Tampa, Florida.

11,779 athletes participated in the five-day tournament.

There were 1,300 teams from 40+ states and 13 countries. 

Flag football is a non-contact sport, so tackling is not allowed.

Flag football will be a trial sport during the Olympic Games in LA in 2028.

The Olympic teams can have only 12 players on the roster and only 5 players on the field.

November is National Pomegranate Month.

Pomegranates originated in northern India but are now grown around the world.

The pomegranate shrub can grow between five and ten meters tall.

It is also popular in Japan for growing bonsai.

The name Pomegranate comes from a Latin word meaning “seeded apple.”

Pomegranate seeds and juice are very healthy and used in cooking and for diets.

“To be homesick” means “to miss one’s home or country.

I’ve never felt homesick because I feel that wherever I am living is my home and my friends are my family.
“A hoodie” is “a hooded sweatshirt.”
