Next Monday starts the final full week of radiation treatments. I can’t believe that I’ve been in here for six weeks already. I have never been isolated from family or friends before. I really miss and appreciate being able to communicate with people face to face.

I was lucky to have been able to meet Max in person. That was one of the highlights of my time here. I often video chat with my daughter but that’s normal since she lives in the States. I’m also happy to have met another patient who speaks English.

The staff from top to bottom are all super nice. They always greet with a smile and try small talk when they can. After today’s treatment, only 6 more. The doctor told me yesterday that there will be no more chemotherapy. That made me very happy. Chemo had the worst side effects.

Next Monday are blood tests. I hope the results are good as they have been recently.

They just put me on IV drip again to keep me hydrated. I’ll also drink much water.

I’m almost home.
