I depart Seattle tomorrow, Sunday September 16, at 1:20 pm. These past three weeks have flown by. Everyday was so busy, but I had a great time with the kids. Almost everyday was take Max and Tyler to school by 7:30, do the dishes, clean house, laundry, pick the boys up at 2:10, pick up Marlo at 3:30, take Max and Tyler to football practice at 5 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Marlo to socccer practice on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturdays are game days for all three and Sunday is a day of rest. It will be nice to get back to a normal schedule in Japan. Today Max's team played against the best team in the league and lost by a big margin. Tyler's team won by a score of 28 - 0 and Marlo's team won by a score of 4 - 0. I really enjoyed watchiing them all play. The weather has been rainy and cool/cold these past few days. I heard that Tokyo has cooled down too. Hope to see you all later this week.

Idon't really have any exciting stories to tell, just spending time with my grandkids. Hope to see you on next Monday for the Seahawks game.)

(It was nice getting back to my normal schedule here and seeing all my students/friends. It usually takes me ten days to two weeks to get over jey lag, but I am forcing myself to stay up late so I sleep longer. I think I am almost over the jet lag now. The sunsets were so beautiful if the daytime was sunny with blue skies. Even if it was partly cloudy, the sunsets were nice. I wanted to take a photo of the sunsets every night, but I was often busy at that time. Someday we can all get together on a Sunday and watch the previous week's game.)
