This past week has been mostly quiet, just hanging out with Max, Tyler and Marlo. Every night we sit out on the deck and enjoy the sunset. Every sunset is so beautiful, but some are more beautiful than others. I will try to post some photos later.

I noticed new wildlife here this summer. We always see deer in the back yard but this year I have also seen pheasant, humming birds and two coyotes. I was surprised to see the coyotes. I heard that there are about 50 living on hte island and have been coming into residential areas in the past few years.  So far they haven't attacked any people, but they have attacked some pets.

Yesterday, Thursday, August 31 was a very busy day. First, Christina, the kids and I went to a Chinese restaurant in Seattle for a Dim Sum luncheon with my brothers, sister, cousins, nephews and their kids. It was really nice catching up with everybody. My eldest cousin is the oldest at 82 and my sister is the youngest at 63. I am second youngest at 70.

After the luncheon, we brought the kids back to Anacortes and picked up Andrew and drove back to Seattle for the Seahawks football game. There was super heavy traffic but we entered the stadium just at kickoff time. We played well, but we lost to the LA Chargers. In ten days the regular schedule will start and that is when we will start winning. :)

We were supposed to have a sushi/bbq party this weekend, but many people wanted to go camping since it is the last tree-day weekend before school starts (on September 6) so we decided to have just a small BBQ with a few friends. I was looking forward to the sushi. :(

That's about it for now, I'll try to write more in a day or two.

It seems like you spend great time. I envy you.:) How about Chinese restaurant? I’d like to try it someday. Do you love sushi? I’ve never seen you eat it so you don’t like sushi I think.

(This Chinese restaurant isn't so special, but it is famous in the area. Many of the local Chinese eat there. Actually, I love sushi. I eat is fairly often. I don't know why, but sushi in Japan tastes better than here, but I like sushi from anywhere.)
